Meet Dr. Pride

Renee Pride, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in surgical dermatology and treatment of skin cancers. 


Dr. Pride graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College before achieving an academic scholarship to attend medical school at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She received multiple awards during medical school including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Pride completed an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the esteemed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She was then selected for a highly competitive fellowship in cutaneous oncology and Mohs micrographic surgery at the Mayo Clinic during which time she received extensive training in skin cancer treatment and cutaneous reconstruction.

 

Dr. Pride's clinical interests include general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has expertise in surgical treatment of benign and malignant skin growths including moles, cysts, lipomas, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma as well as facial reconstruction including flap and graft repairs. She has published in peer reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international conferences. She is an active member of the following organizations: American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and American College of Mohs Surgeons (ACMS). 

 

Dr. Pride believes in individualized patient care and putting the needs of the patient first. In her free time, Dr. Pride enjoys spending time with her family and adventuring outdoors including skiing, hiking, and running. She is thrilled to return to Colorado and join the team at Core Dermatology.
